DESCRIPTION:The Slopes Board has been informed that in preparation for the start of construction on the south segment of the West Calgary Ring Road (WCRR) this spring\, some trees and brush are being cleared from within the footprint of the Transportation / Utility Corridor. This work will begin early February 2020 in select areas east of 101 Street SW\, between Old Banff Coach Road SW and Lower Springbank Road.\n\nAlberta Transportation (AT) will be holding an information session next week on Wednesday January 29. Members of the AT project team will be available to discuss the need to remove the trees and how the environment is being protected.
